problem
Cyclists lack a centralized platform to discover and participate in rides, races, and cycling events. Communities rely heavily on fragmented WhatsApp groups, where important event information, updates, and shared content often get lost in noisy conversations. At the same time, organizers struggle with manual processes for managing registrations, RSVPs, payments, communication, and rider safety, making it difficult to efficiently run and scale cycling events. As a result, both cyclists and organizers face significant barriers to engagement, coordination, and community growth.
solution
GoRide app is currently exclusive for cyclists, Users can find events around their location and join them, view other joined participants, create a social profile, post events and view stats of completed events, share pictures, Live track other users on the created path in a live event, riders can use this app for GPX navigation during the rides and also find the live location of other riders, this helps the organizers and the riders to stay connected during the ride. The app also would have a repository of available cycling routes which the user can download or a organizer can plan a group ride along that route
The app would have a gamified experience, Users will gain XP points for completing the rides or joined challenges and will be able to view the leaderboards of the joined challenges. The leaderboards should a modern look and feel similar to the screenshot added from INTVL app (running app). User will earn badges for completed milestones/challenges and will be able to share it to his social profile on the app and also to instagram
